Virtual executive assistant support
for growing businesses
Your business needs more support. You don’t necessarily need a full-time employee.
Perhaps your diary takes more organising than it used to. Client follow-ups are scattered between inboxes, and the team keeps picking up admin around their own work.
I’m Jo Butcher, founder of Your Favourite VA. Based in Frimley, Surrey, I provide ongoing virtual executive assistant support to business owners and growing teams across the UK.
I get to know your business, understand what needs looking after and take ownership of the work that keeps everything moving behind the scenes.
When the extra work keeps coming back to you
You might already have a capable team. Everyone has their own responsibilities, but there are plenty of things that don’t sit neatly with any one person.
Someone needs to organise the meeting, follow up with the client, update the CRM or make sure the new starter has the right information.
So you do it. Or someone else squeezes it in.
Over time, that becomes quite a lot of work to fit around everything else.
This is often where I come in: providing regular support and becoming familiar enough with the business to know what needs doing, who to speak to and how you like things handled.

What I can take ownership of
We’ll agree the priorities together. Depending on what your business needs, my executive support can include:
-
Inbox and diary management: organising emails, coordinating appointments and keeping track of follow-ups.
-
Meetings and travel: arranging meetings, preparing papers, coordinating travel and organising expenses.
-
Client and team communications: keeping people informed, chasing information and following up on agreed actions.
-
CRM and contact management: maintaining records, updating contact information and keeping data organised.
-
Documents and presentations: preparing, formatting and updating the materials your team needs.
-
Team and project administration: coordinating practical arrangements, organising shared information and supporting onboarding.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly organised list. We can work through what’s taking up time and decide where my support would be most useful.

Support that becomes familiar with your business
Before starting Your Favourite VA in 2019, I spent more than 20 years working as a Personal Assistant and Office Manager.
That experience helps me look beyond the immediate task. I think about what needs to happen next, who is waiting for information and whether there’s a simpler way to organise the work.
As we work together, I get to know your team, your systems and the details that make your business yours. You can explain the context once, then build on that shared understanding.
You’ll work directly with me, with clear priorities and an agreed way of keeping in touch.
How ongoing support works
We start with a conversation about your business, your team and the work you need help with.
From there, we agree an initial scope and a monthly allocation of hours. We’ll also discuss priorities, access to the relevant systems and how we’ll communicate.
There will be a settling-in period while I learn how things work. We can start with a manageable set of responsibilities and review them as we go.
My Rates page explains the current pricing and monthly support arrangements.

“Jo took time to firstly understand my business and then support as and when needed. At a time when my diary was inundated with requests for meetings, all I did was hand these over to Jo, who quietly went about getting these scheduled into my ever busy calendar, leaving me to focus on my core activities.”
Bob Rehill, Cintriq
Is this outsourced or fractional executive assistant support?
You may see this kind of arrangement described as outsourced executive assistant support or fractional EA support.
Outsourced means you engage an independent provider rather than employ someone in-house. Fractional usually means having experienced support for an agreed portion of time.
For my clients, the practical arrangement is straightforward: regular support from someone who gets to know the business, with an agreed monthly allocation of hours.
We’ll discuss the level of support and availability you need so we can establish whether we’re a good fit.

A little reassurance about who you’re working with
I’m a two-time winner of The PA Way Virtual Assistant of the Year award, in 2024 and 2026.
But the best way to understand what working with me feels like is to hear from a client:

“Jo has been a highly effective, reliable and valuable extension to our team. A ‘safe pair of hands’ who is able to work both quickly and independently on projects without sacrificing quality at any point.”
Brian Casey, Changefirst
Shall we talk about what you need?
You might know exactly what you want to hand over. Or you might simply know that the current arrangement is becoming difficult to keep up with.
Tell me a little about your business and where you could use some support. We can talk through the practicalities together.
